President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika will on Wednesday officially open the Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM) Mzuzu Branch.
This has been disclosed in a press statement released from the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) signed by Presidential Press Officer Mgeme Kalilani.
According to the statement, before opening the bank Mutharika will inspect the Mzuzu University (Mzuni) Library which was gutted by fire a few months ago.
Since the library was gutted down, the academic community at Mzuni has been anxiously waiting for the visit of President Mutharika who is the university’s Chancellor.
Come Friday, May 27, 2016, Mutharika will cheer people in areas hit by floods in Karonga district.
The statement further states that, Mutharika will officially open the new Nkhatabay Hospital in Nkhatabay on Monday May 30, 2016.
