Six Malawians who were critically injured in a road accident involving a South African bus in Mozambique in route to Malawi have arrived in the country.

The six who were receiving treatment in Mozambican hospital arrived in the country this morning through Mwanza border.

Immigration spokesperson at Mwanza border, Pasqually Zulu confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

Zulu said two of the six are pregnant women.

He also told this publication that remains of three deceased Malawians have been sent to their home villages.

Zulu further said that the driver of the bus is being kept in Mozambique’s police station.
