The Malawi Bureau of Standards (MBS) has with immediate effect suspended operations of Chicken Cottage situated at Chichiri Shopping Center, and Kachere Bakery situated in Ndirande Township in Blantyre.
This has been disclosed in a press statement released on Tuesday made available to FaceofMalawi signed by Devlin Chokazinga.
According to the statement, the two business premises have been closed due to continuous non compliance to hygienic conditions as stipulated in Malawi Standard Number 21; Food And Food Processing Units – Code Of Hygienic Conditions.
MBS has since called on Malawians to stop patronizing the two places.
