President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika will on Friday June 17, 2016 preside over commemorations marking this year’s World Day against Child Labour in Lilongwe.
This has been disclosed in a press statement from the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) signed by Mgeme Kalilani.
“The President is expected to arrive at the Cross Roads Hotel, venue of the commemorations at 9:30 in the morning. Government officials and all invited dignitaries are requested to be seated by 9:00am,” reads the statement in part.
The theme for the commemorations is; “Child Labour and Supply Chains”.
