Malawi Bureau of Standard (MBS) has with immediate effect suspended operations of three business premises situated in the commercial capital Blantyre.
The three companies are YB’s Restaurant opposite Livingstone Towers in Blantyre, Steers and Debonairs and Dairibord Malawi opposite Kamuzu Stadium.
According to statement signed by Devlin Chokazinga, the three companies have been suspended due to continuous non compliance to hygienic conditions as stipulated in Malawi Standard Number 21; Food and Food Processing Units – Code Of Hygienic Conditions.
Chokazinga has since advised Malawians to stop patronizing the three premises.
