Death has been announced of Polytechnic lecturer, a constituent college of the University of Malawi (UNIMA) Simbarashe Mungoshi.
Mungoshi, a senior lecturer in Journalism died on Saturday afternoon at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) in the commercial capital Blantyre after a short illness.
The death of Mungoshi has shocked Malawians including the media in the country since he was a source of information.
One of his lecturer chijere chirwa said: “I taught him at Chancellor College. Was surely one of the very few creative & critical thinkers in his group.”
Meanwhile details of his burial ceremony are still sketchy.
