A total of 153, 656 candidates are expected to sit for this year’s Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examination scheduled to start tomorrow Wednesday, June 22 2016.

According to Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB) Public Relations Officer Simeon Maganga, all is set for the administration of the said exams across the country.

Although this is the case, FaceofMalawi has the information that MANEB is yet to release allowances to supervisors, police officers and invigilators raising fears that some officials may boycott the exercise.

MANEB Acting Executive Director Jack Chalimba confirmed of the development, saying the board is yet to receive the funding.
