Information reaching FaceofMalawi indicates that Inkosi Njolomole of Ntcheu is dead.
Confirming the death, District Commissioner for Ntcheu Paul Kalilombe said T/A Njolomole died of high blood pressure at Ntcheu District Hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
Last month, Madam Gertrude Mutharika cheered Inkosi Njolomole at his home in Ntcheu.
In her speech, Mutharika wished him well and prayed that God heal the chief.
She also commended the royal family for tirelessly caring for the chief who suffered from stroke since 2012.
