A 22-year old herbalist is in Police custody in Zomba for allegedly raping and sexually molesting two women who sought help from him.
Zomba Police publicist Patricia Sipiliano confirmed of the arrest and identified the suspect as Jackson Sinoko.
According to Sipiliano, the victims aged 20 and 22 respectively on Friday last week went to the herbalist to get love charms.
Sipiliano said that the herbalist told the women that if they want their problem to end he should apply some concoction on their private parts.
“The two agreed and he ordered them to enter his room one by one,” she said.
While in the room, the herbalist ordered them to undress so that he can “operate” on them by way of applying the charm on the private parts.
The herbalist then took advantage of this and he raped an elder woman while the other one was just sexually molested.
Sinoko hails from Kambewa Village, Traditional Authority Chikowi in the district.
