Phone battery explosion kills teenage boy

A 10-year-old-pupil at Kalombo Primary School, Thomas Jowadi, has died after being hit by a cellularphone battery that exploded in a fire.
The deceased, who was in Standard 2, met his fate over the weekend near his father’s house at around 6 o’clock in the morning.
