St Luke’s College of Nursing and Midwifery in Zomba has been closed in indefinitely following a strange disease that has attacked students at the school.

St Luke’s college of nursing Principal Maxwell Pangani confirmed of the development in an interview with Zodiak radio on Monday.

Pangani said the disease has also been reported from two primary schools in the district.

He said the affected students show a sign of Malaria signs but when tested the results are negative.

Pangani said the management has closed down the school to control the spread of the disease to other students.
