Former President and founder of opposition People’s Party (PP) Dr. Joyce Banda is set to deliver this year’s John Evans Atta Mills Memorial lecture.
The event which is organized annually in honour of late President John Evans Atta Mills is scheduled for Monday, July 25.
Professor Atta Mills died on July 24, 2012 while serving as the Head of state and Commander-in-Chief of the Republic of Ghana.
This year’s lecture will be the fourth in his commemoration. The lecture to be themed ‘Atta Mills: the Servant Leader’ will take place at the main auditorium of the University of Cape Coast.
As part of the events commemorating the 4th anniversary of his passing, the John Evans Atta Mills Presidential Library which was built at the University of Cape Coast will also be commissioned by President John Dramani Mahama on the same day.
