High Court Judge Michael Mtambo has found guilty former Justice Minister Ralph Kasambara and his co-accused in the attempted murder of former Budget Director Paul Mphwiyo.
Kasambara has been found guilty of conspiracy to murder Mphwiyo while the first accused MacDonald Kumwembe and Pika Manondo have been found guilty on two counts, conspiracy to murder and murder attempt.
The verdict was live on Times TV and Radio as it was the case with the murder case involving South African athlete Oscar Pistorius.
Delivering his judgment, Mtambo said the State has proved reasonable doubts that the three conspired to murder Mphwiyo.
Judge Mtambo has also revoked the bail of the three, meaning that the three will be now remanded at Maula Prison waiting for actual sentence at a date to be announced.
