Polytechnic students arrested on Friday in the commercial capital Blantyre have been released on bail the Blantyre Magistrate Court after spending three days in Police cell.

The students,14 in total were arrested during fees hike protest in Blantyre.

Over the weekend parents of the said students stormed Blantyre Police demanding for the immediate release of the students, accusing the police of harassing the victims.
