As 2019 draws near for the country to hold its second tripartite election, Faceofmalawi can reveal that a new political party called Transformation Alliance has been formed.

According to information sourced by this publication, the Party will be launched today at Malawi Sun Hotel in the commercial capital Blantyre.

Speaking in an interview with the press, one of the Party founders who also former Minister of Information during the reign of Dr. Joyce Banda, Moses Kunkuyu said the Party has been formed with main aim of screening future leadership.

Kunkuyu who refused to comment further said more details of the Party will be said during the launch.

President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika is expected to face more pressure from the new Party considering the economic down turn the country is going through at the moment.
