Nsanje hyena’s case failed to commence today at Nsanje First Grade Magistrate Court due to the absence of the presiding magistrate Thom Ligowe who is reported to be outside the country.
Police arrested Eric Aniva last month after admitting to British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) that he was hired to sleep with over 100 young girls.
Last week the case was adjourned today August 24, 2016 following the recusal of First Grade Magistrate Anderson Masanjala.
Masanjala recused himself from the case saying he stays in Nsanje so he wanted to remain neutral.
Speaking in an interview after the case failed to resume at Nsanje First Grade Magistrate Court, Judicial Spokesperson Mlenga Mvula said the presiding Migistrate is outside the country attending to other pressing issues.
The case has since been adjourned to September.
