Information reaching FaceofMalawi indicates that Police in Lilongwe have arrested opposition Malawi Congress Party president Lazarus Chakwera’s bodyguard on unknown charges.
The bodyguard has been identified as Joseph Undi and a garden boy named Harrison Nsalupa.
MCP Deputy Secretary General Eisenhower Mkaka confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying the two are being kept at unknown police cell.
Mkaka said two police vehicle stormed MCP’s headquarters in the capital and arrested without any notice.
