According to source, the Foundation for community Support Services has been reported to manage to convince many boys and girls in six traditional authorities across the district to drop marriages and go back to school.

However, that attract attention to Face of Malawi staff reporter is how the matter has met its intended audiences on Facebook page.

One of Facebook user has commented that this development will just make things worse as many NGOs do not help much youth with school fees.

“But then no readily programmes available to proceed with education, as a result they end up in being prostitutes, serving in bars and pubs which is worse than where they were,” commented the user.

Another user came in with a comment that explained how the one was totally mad at an idea of leaving family for school just like that.

’Using the word rescued its totally madness mukadangoti mabanja akwakanika chifukwa cha Umphawi

‘Now poti ena ali ndi tiana sol mukati apangidwa rescued, tiziti amakwatiwa mokakamizidwa nanga ana awo awalelendani?’

While others doubt the truth about the whole story.

‘I am of the view that the figure 200+ is an exaggeration’

Meanwhile, many NGOs and Malawi government are against both child and early marriages while ignoring the fact that many youth fail to proceed with Education to Secondary and University because of lacking school fees and marrying is best option for them than indulging in other worse behaviours.
