Blantyre Magistrate Court has once again denied bail to Peoples Land Organisation (PLO) leader Vincent Wandale and two other suspects for allegedly mobilizing people in Thyolo and Mulanje to grab land from Tea estates.

Wandale and two other suspects are answering four counts, unauthorized use of land, inciting violence and others.

Appearing before the court on Monday, the presiding Magistrate denied bail to Wandale saying the case is nearing its conclusion.

The Magistrate also feared that the three might jump bail.

Wandale, Tendai Msikiti and Chrispine Nkhoma are accused of forcibly grabbing land belonging to a private company, Comforzi Tea Estate and distributing it to landless people.

Meanwhile the case has been adjourned to Thursday.
