
Few hours remain for Mutharika’s return

Malawians are anxiously waiting to see their beloved President Peter Mutharika as communicated by government that he will come today, Sunday but the exact time is communicated.
Mutharika left the country for United Nations general assembly in US on September 16 but has extended his stay for almost a month.
Speaking in an interview, earlier this week, State house Spokesman, Ken Kalirani disclosed that Mutharika is expected to jet in at exact 1; 00 pm through Kamuzu international Airport.
Later the week another communiqué through general secretary of ruling government, George kondiwa said president will reach home at 3; 00 pm.
Kalirani admitted the diversity ideas on time but said government wants people to come on time waiting for the President.
Yesterday government officials placed nation flags on poles from Kamuzu airport to State house in Lilongwe for the return of Mutharika.
