Information sourced by FaceofMalawi indicates that veteran politician Gwanda Chakuamba has been admitted at Seventh Day Adventist Hospital in Blantyre.
His close friend and former politician Moses Dossi has confirmed the development in an interview with the press.
Dossi says Chakuamba who was supposed to be traveling to India for a check up on his heart complications is receiving treatment at the Adventist Hospital.
Two weeks ago Malawi Congress Party (MCP) President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera together with Sidik Mia visited him at his residence in Chilobwe.
Chakuamba served in the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) , United Democratic Front (UDF) Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and was recently affiliated to former governing Peoples Party (PP).
