The court in Mzuzu has again denied bail Councilor Charles Mlogera who was arrested for defiling three girls two weeks ago.
Mlogera is Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Councillor for Chibanja Ward in Mzuzu City.
Mlogera was told to remain on remand o protect him from an irate mob and relatives who were baying for his blood.
He is accused of making three girls drunk and defiling each one of them. Two girls aged 16 and one aged 15.
