Members of Parliament will resume meeting for the 46th session of Parliament on November 21 at the August House in Lilongwe.

This has been disclosed in a statement released on Wednesday to the press signed by the Speaker of the National Assembly Richard Msowoya.

According to Msowoya, the meeting will run for four weeks to December 16.

“All Cabinet Ministers, Deputy Ministers and Honourable members of Parliament (MPs) are summoned to attend the meeting at the time and place indicated until adjournment sine die and herein fail not,” reads in part the statement.

Leader of the House George Chaponda who is also Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development confirmed of the meeting in an interview with the press.

Meanwhile it is not known as to whether the parliament will discuss the Access to Information Bill or not.
