The High Court in Blantyre has adjourned the 1.7 billion Kwacha corruption case involving former President Dr Bakili Muluzi and Violet Whiskey to the 23 November 2016.

Judiciary spokesperson Mlenga Mvula said the case has been adjourned because of communication breakdown between the involved parties in the case.

The court is expected to continue examining the second witness Wilson Mlauzi who is expected to give his testimony on the transactions that passed through National Bank Zomba Branch.

By then, Mlauzi was working as a Chief Dealer for the Bank.
