
Malawi’s fuel tanker explodes in Mozambique: 73 people killed

At least 73 people have been killed and more than 100 injured when a truck exploded in Mozambique.
The victims are believed to have been trying to get fuel off the truck when it blew up.
The truck was carrying fuel to Malawi from the port of Beira when it overturned.
The injured had to be taken 90 km to hospital.
The disaster occurred in Tete province about 2,000 kilometres from the capital Maputo.
