The body of the newly appointed high court Judge George Bakuwa will be laid to rest today at his home village Kachule in Dedza district.

Bakuwa died on Thursday due to high blood pressure while in Zambia on official duties. He was expected to take up his post as judge on December 1.

The body of Bakuwa arrived in the country on Sunday through Chileka International Airport in the commercial capital Blantyre.

Bakuwa was appointed as high court judge on October 5 by President Peter Mutharika.

Born on January 7, 1966 Bakuwa worked as magistrate before joining ADMARC where he served as company secretary.
