Several Malawians are coming back after being repatriated in Tanzania over illegal entry and overstaying in the country.
Over past weeks, 250 Malawians were arrested in Tanzania, while others were fined ranging from One Million, 500,000 and 300,00 Tanzanian Shillings.
These Malawians who are coming home are believed to have managed to pay these fines or managed to run away; those who failed are serving 6 months jail term.
Some reports show that many Malawians are being subjected to various forms of torture including being abused by the hosts.
This is not the first time Malawians living in Diaspora facing hardships ever since the economy of country went sour as last year many have been suffered xenophobia attacks in South Africa.
