Five primary school learners hit by maize truck in Bangwe

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that five pupils from Namatapa Primary School in Bangwe, Blantyre have been rushed to hospital after sustaining injuries when a truck plunged into school premises.

An eyewitness who rushed to the scene confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying the accident happened few minutes ago.

According to an eyewitness, the accident happened at the time when the pupils at the school were having morning porridge.

Meanwhile looters took advantage of the situation to loot out the maize in the truck.
