Ex-wife to former President Dr. Bakili Muluzi, Anne is expected to arrive in the country today through Chileka International Airport in the commercial capital Blantyre to attend the burial of her daughter, Esmie Malisita Muluzi.

Malisita Muluzi was struck to death by lightning on Monday, together with her close friend Hazel Busile in Blantyre.

The two were reportedly helping out in fertiliser application at a garden in Mpemba.

According to information sourced from the Muluzi’s family, the former Malawi’s first lady will be arriving in the country at exactly 12:30pm today Thursday.

Anne Muluzi left the country for United States of America just after separating with former president Dr.Bakili Muluzi in 1999.

Meanwhile the body of Esmie will be taken to Kapoloma Village in Machinga today for burial on Friday.

Yesterday, the body was collected from College of Medicine in Blantyre to her resident in New Naperi and it was received by CCAP women.
