The Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development has announced the death of Traditional Authority (T/A)Mponela of Dowa district.
According to the Ministry, T/A Mponela passed away last night after a long illness. He was 36 years old, and is survived by a wife and two children.
The Ministry further says burial arrangements will be communicated later.
