Opposition People’s Party (PP) Councillor William Mkandawira has been re-elected as Mayor for Mzuzu City.
This is the second loss for the ruling Democratic Progressive (DPP) in a space of five days.
Mkandawire has outclassed DPP Councillor for Masasa ward Yona Mkandawire by 13 votes against 3 votes.
