Former Transport minister Muhammad Sidik Mia has accused the executive committee of Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) over his removal as one of the trustees of MAM.

Mia said this during the graduation ceremony for Kanjeza Islamic Sisters ceremony in Islamic Banking Trading at COMESA whole in Blantyre.

The former transport minister wondered as to why he was removed as trustee of the Muslim mother body.

“The establishment of MAM was facilitated by my father and some five to six years ago the body’s offices were about to be closed because of loans l rescued the body but after all what l have done in assisting the reward I got was to be removed because of greed and corruption,” he lamented.

Mia warned the greedy people that if they will continue if their malpractices that all the donations that comes from donors will stop.

He however urged Muslims to be united and strong for the things to move forward and to shape their future.
