Veteran musician Lucius Banda who is also United Democratic Front (UDF) Member of Parliament for Balaka north has reacted to the recent attack by President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika in Mangochi on Saturday.
On Saturday, Mutharika described Lucius as a misguided MP for being against the working relationship between UDF and the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).
“We will continue with this alliance. It is only one MP who doesn’t want this alliance, he is misguided,” said Mutharika just after UDF women danced for him at a function to mark the official opening of Mangochi Community College.
Writing on his official facebook page, Banda described Mutharika’s remarks as baseless.
“WHEN YOU ARE GUIDED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT. ALL THE WICKED SEE IS THAT YOU ARE MISGUIDED, BECAUSE TO EVIL PEOPLE BAD THINGS ARE GOOD AND VISEVERSOR……my Lord Jesus, lead the way…..,” wrote Banda.
Banda has on several times questioned the married partnership between UDF and DPP, saying the relations is only benefiting the Party President Atupele Muluzi who is also Minister of Lands and Housing.
