Former opposition People’s Party (PP) spokesperson Ken Msonda who recently joined the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) was this week spotted using public transport from Blantyre to Mzuzu despite challenging to buy air ticket for Brian Banda.

Msonda was seen boarding an Axa coach at Wenela Bus depot in the commercial capital Blantyre heading to his home village in Rumphi.

Onlookers took a photo of Msonda and posted it on facebook.

On Friday last week, Banda and Msonda clashed several times during the interview with TV presented accusing Msonda of joining the DPP because of poverty.

The remarks did not please Msonda who retaliated by accusing Banda of being used by PP officials.

The interview also attracted debate on the social media especially facebook with others accusing Banda of failing to the interview as he asked personal questions and made personal remarks such as that Msonda was too poor to afford an air ticket.
