Civil Society Agriculture Network (Cisanet) has a new national director, she is Pamela Kuwali.

She replaces Tamani Nkhono-Mvula, who has served in the same capacity for five years.

A statement from Cisanet, which faceofmalawi has seen, describes Kuwali as a development practitioner with over 15 years experience.

“Her most recent assignment was with the National Democratic Institute (NDI). She also previously worked with Public Affairs Section, Embassy of the United States of America; and World Food Programme (WFP) on different positions,” says the statement.

Cisanet is an agriculture and food security policy advocacy organisation working on, among others areas, climate smart agriculture, budget accountability programme, and nutrition and social protection affecting smallholder farmers and livelihoods of poor Malawians in general.
