Four police officers have been relieved of their duties after being caught drinking bear with prostitutes while on duty wearing uniforms.
Central Region Police spokesperson confirmed of the development in an interview with the press and identified the suspects as Inspector Kenneth Kadiwa, Sergeant Clear Kondowe, Sergeant Dunken Kadumba and Constable James Kamphinda.
The officers were captured taking beer, while in the line of duty with a woman suspected to a prostitute while putting on police cap.
The photo attracted condemnation on the social media with others questioning the morality of the said cops.
“They have all been dismissed on the offense of ‘Prejudice of good order and discipline,” said Central Region police spokesperson.
Two months ago police headquarters also fired a female cop stationed at Chileka identified as Esther Chiundiza over her leaked nude photos.
The female officer is alleged to have been in relationship with one of the top police officers.
