Radio personality and musician whom many people known by his hit single Yanga Ija has appeared in Kamlepo`s list of people who played a role in his abduction.
The Rumphi East Parliamentarian, Kamlepo Kalua disappeared early this month and was later found at Kwacha roundabout with both his hands and legs tied with blue ropes.
Upon being found, Kamlepo claimed not to remember anything after he was abducted, a thing he later explained as said deliberately since he knew police were also involved.
He however demanded to be given more time to make sense of his abduction as to give Malawians a true account of events surrounding his missing.
Just a week ago, Kamlepo attended the parliament sitting where he was given a chance to explain what had happened to him during the days he was missing.
In his speech, The Rumphi East Parliamentarian mentioned the former minister of Agriculture Dr George Chaponda as the one responsible for his missing.
According to Kalua, Chaponda did not work alone as he had help of his son in law, Diktator.
Diktator is said to have fed his father in law with false information that made Kalua a public spectacle.
“At the start of the mission, the former minister used his son in-law Dickson Shumba who is married to his daughter Rejoice Chaponda. Dickson works at MBC and his wife, Chaponda’s daughter, works at the ministry of foreign affairs.
“It seems Dickson told his father that he was friends with my son as they are both musicians in their free time. Dickson is known by the name Diktator when doing music. Dickson was sent to spy at my son’s house sometime back as he was going there as a friend,” said Kalua.
Kalua further said his family made a plan to give Dickson wrong information on the cars as they said the cars were not cleared by MRA.
He said Dickson was misinformed because they knew his spying mission was to get information on the cars.
“He later rushed with this information to his father in-law who took the news to his top boss,” said Kalua.
