Senior Chief Malengachanzi who died on Monday morning at Kamuzu Central Hospital (KCH) will be laid to rest on Wednesday at his headquarters in Nkhotakota.
Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.
The Chief is said to have succumbed to High blood pressure.
He was born in 1938 and was installed as chief Malengachanzi in 1987. He is survived by a wife, 7 children, 35 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
