Unconfirmed reports indicates that three people have died including a nurse after an Ambulance they were travelling in belonging to St Anne’s Hospital was involved in road accident.
According to an eyewitness, the ambulance was carrying patients from Nkhotakota District Hospital to Kamuzu Central Hospital in the capital Lilongwe.
It is said that the nurse who was roped in to attend to patients died on the spot while two others died upon arrival at the hospital.
The cause of the accident is not yet known.
