Interim President for opposition People’s Party (PP) Uladi Mussa has criticized President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika for allegedly appointing a task force to investigate the July 6, 2017 Bingu National Stadium stamped, saying it’s a waste of time and resources.
On Monday, President Mutharika appointed a task force to investigate the stadium stamped which claimed eight lives and the task force comprises of government top officials attracting debate on among Malawians.
Many people questioned each other as to whether the task force will come up with tangible results considering the fact that some fingers are pointing at organisers of the event.
Speaking in an interview with the press, Mussa described the appointment of the task force as a waste of time and resources.
“The Stadium Manager said it all and there is no need for a task force,” said Mussa.
Eric Ning’ang’a blamed the organizers for delaying in opening the gates.
