President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has appointed renowned lawyer Charles Mhango, as the Attorney General replacing Kalekeni Kaphale.
This was disclosed in a press statement released on Monday made available to faceofmalawi signed by Chief Secretary to the President.
According to the statement, the appointment of Mhango follows the expiry of Kaphale’s term of office in May this year.
The appointment of Mhango is with effect from July 16, 2017.
