After appearing before Anti Corruption Bureau  (ACB) in Blantyre for questioning this morning, the Former Agriculture,  Irrigation and Water Development, Minister George Chaponda  has bean arrested.

According to reports, Chaponda arrived at ACB offices at exact 8:00. with his his lawyer, Jai Banda.

Chaponda was fired as minister by President Peter Mutharika after he was implicated in the controversial Zambia maize-gate.
