The police in Zomba is keeping a 32 year old man in custody for sodomizing a seven year old boy.
According to district’s Police Public Relations Officer, Patricia Supriano, speaking to local radio, said the incident occurred on July 14, 2017 in a bus at the depot.
Supriano disclosed that the suspect, 32 year old Michael Malinda, promised to pay the victim MK100 after fulfilling his demands.
However, Supriano seem puzzled with the development, saying sodomy is not common in Zomba and this is the first incident to be reported.
