The Lilongwe Magistrate Court has granted bail to Grace Mijiga Mhango who the Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested yesterday in connection with the Zambia maize deal.
She has been asked to pay K100,000 to the court and produce two non-cash sureties amounting to K2 million each. She has also been asked to surrender her travel documents, report to ACB every fortnight and get permission before leaving Lilongwe.
Meanwhile, in Blantyre George Chaponda and his other accomplice, Rashid Tayub are yet to appear before the court for a bail application.
