Former Zambian President Kenneth Kaunda has been discharged from hospital.
The 93-year-old was admitted to the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka.
Health Minister Dr Chitalu Chilufya says Kaunda has recovered fully.
He says Kaunda is in a stable condition and team of specialists will continue to monitor his condition.
He adds authorities are confident that Kaunda has recuperated and will continue with his normal activities.
Zambian authorities were irked by recent social media reports that Kaunda had died.
