Malawi Congress Party parliamentarian Dr. Jessie Kabwira reportedly had a narrow escape this morning when her car overturned in a road accident at Mphomwa trading center in Kasungu.
Kabwira said the accident happened as her driver tried to avoid a vehicle overtaking another side of the road. The car overturned in the process.
There were four people in the vehicle, including Kabwira’s daughter and a reporter from Maravi Post. All sustained minor injuries.
Salima North West Member of Parliament was going to Mzuzu for an education debate.
