Information sourced by faceofmalawi indicates that Medical Council of Malawi (MCM) is today scheduled to close down Dowa district hospital over unhygienic condition rocking the hospital.
According to information at hand, MCM gave Dowa District hospital officials a 14 days ultimatum to sort out the challenges like blockage of flush toilets, no pit latrines.
It is said that come to wait for labour and delivery and guardians to use plastic carrier bag when they want to defecate.
But an eyewitness, who is together with Medical Council Officials inspecting the hospital today, says the hospital is still in bad condition.
