Alliance for Democracy (Aford) President Enock Chihana has come out of his cocoon and says he is ready to be arrest together with former President Dr. Joyce Banda in the plunder of public funds dubbed cashgate.
Chihana who was Minister of Sports and Culture made the remarks during a rally held over the weekend in the northern region.
In his speech, Chihana said cashgate scandal was a collective responsibility of the executive and blame should also be shared by all cabinet ministers who served under Banda’s reign.
Chihana said the decision taken by the President is also shared by Cabinet Ministers.
Reacting to the claims, National Police Spokesperson James Kadadzera urged Chihana to presents his thoughts on the matter to the police.
He said the police cannot act on what is said on the media.
