Man shot dead by armed thugs in Lilongwe

Armed thugs in the capital Lilongwe have shot dead a fuel attendant at one of the filling stations situated in Mchesi Township in the capital Lilongwe.
Dan Mughogho of as it happens confirmed of the development in a statement posted on his official facebook page and identified the deceased as Imedi Kachere.
According to Mughogho, the incident happened at around 11:30pm on Thursday.
It is said that the thugs were on a mission to rob the filling station.
Meanwhile police have launched a manhunt for the suspected armed thugs.
