Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) has released four Kwezy buses belonging to Mr. Benson Vitsitsi after they were impounded on August 11.

According to MRA, the release has come in after the owner acknowledged using falsified customs documents.

“We have released four Kwezy Buses after the owner acknowledged using falsified Customs documents. He has since paid additional duty of K16.2 million and a fine of K15 million. The total amount paid is K31.2 million, MRA discloses.

The buses were inaugurated into the business industry at the beginning of this month and they started operating on roads of Malawi following the inauguration.
